Brian Hopper Scoops Top Honour at DPS 2005 Annual Exhibition

Brian P. Hopper has won Dundalk Photographic Society's 'Image of The Year' award.

The competition was held in conjunction with the 'Annual Exhibition 2005' held in the County Museum, and was judged by eminent London based photographic publisher Mr. Will Cheung FRPS, who travelled over especially for the event.

Mr. Cheung is editorial director for a number of well known photographic magazines inc. Photography Monthly .

The exhibition was a massive success with over 200 images on view, so producing the overall winning image is a huge achievement for Brian. The winning image, entitled 'Robert Armstrong, Fisherman' is a beautiful strong graphic portrait that captures the essence and character of the subject, and in fact is very typical of a unique style that Brian has developed with his photography in recent years.
