DPS Takes Senior National Crown once again with 2008 Rosebowl Success

Dundalk Photographic Society were crowned National Senior Champions in the 2008 EPSON National Club Finals, also known as the Rosebowl. This result officially makes DPS the top club in the country in the 2007/2008 season through it's non-advanced and advanced titles.

The EPSON National Club Finals were hosted by Thurles Camera Club in the Tipperary Institute, Thurles, and attracted a large attendence of photographers from all over the country.

DPS took 1st place in the monochrome and 2nd place in the colour section and collected the rosebowl with the highest combined score overall. Individual successes ont he day included Ciaran deBhal whopicked up a silver medal, Gabriel O'Shaughnessy who collected a bronze and a Highly COmmended, Brian Hopper who received two Highly Commendeds and Dave Martin who received a Highly Commended also.

Congratulations to Arthur Carron who re-submitted his Associate panel, with a few changes, and was successful in attaining his AIPF.

Not to be overshadowed, Gabriel O'Shaughnessy topped the whole lot by achieving his FIPF (Fellowship of the IPF) - the first fellowship in the club !
