Dundalk Photographic Society were again crowned National Senior Champions in the 2009 National Club Finals, also known as the Rosebowl. This means the DPS have successfully defended their title from 2008 and retained the title of top Senior club in Ireland..
The 2009 National Club Championships were held in the University of Limerick over the weekend of 25th & 26th April 2009. The event was a huge success with 28 clubs from around the country participating.
DPS took 1st place in the monochrome and 2nd place in the colour section and collected the rosebowl with the highest combined score overall. There was a clean sweep of individual honours in the monochrome section with the Gold Medal going to Gabriel O’Shaughnessy for "Village Keeper", the Silver Medal going to Brian Hopper for "Horses in the Mist", the Bronze Medal going to Tony McDonnell for "Doorstep Group" & finally a Highly Commended to Ciaran de Bhal for "Teacher & Pupil".
Congratulations also to David Martin & Niall McEntegart who successfully attained their LIPF distinctions during the weekend.
